On Thursday, September 17th, we welcomed 31 Truman Scholars and friends to a loft space in the Marina District for a lively reception with our partners at the NobleReach Foundation. Discussion ranged from Truman Scholar memories, our 50 years of community history, and the ways that technology is transforming civic life. We had Trumans representing 20 different cohorts, from 1981 to 2024! And all attendees left with a copy of The Mission Generation, which features multiple Truman Scholars!
