Championing the Next Generation of Truman Scholars

We strengthen the Truman Foundation through private support, programming, and mentorship that empower rising public service leaders.

Our Mission

The Friends of the Truman Foundation is the nonprofit partner of the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation. We raise private donations and mobilize support for the Foundation, to continue its work of nurturing talent committed to public service leadership from across the country.

We create events, programming, mentorship, and other opportunities that help develop the next generation of public service leaders in a diverse and interconnected world.
