Special Screening & Discussion

Trumans from across Chicago-land and beyond came together for a special evening in collaboration with the Doc10 Film Festival.

63 Truman Scholars & guests gathered at the Sojourn speakeasy lounge at the historic Davis Theater in Chicago for a reception to celebrate 50 Years of Truman Scholars. Following the reception, the group enjoyed a special screening of The Last RepublicanI, followed by a dynamic panel discussion with Adam Kinzinger himself, as well as our very own Skye Perryman (TX 02).

DOC10 Film Festival

Friends of Truman has secured complimentary tickets for Truman Scholars and their guests to attend this special screening of the award-winning 2024 documentary film, The Last Republican. The subject of the Documentary, which debuted at the Toronto Film festival and was later distributed by Apple TV, will be in attendance and engaging with an expert panel regarding topics from the film.
