Victoria Fimea (AZ 1981)

Victoria is an Attorney with over 30 years of insurance experience, including over 20 years in C-suite and senior-level positions. Ms. Fimea spent the bulk of her career in Washington, D.C., where she was responsible for several advocacy efforts and managed nationwide litigation efforts for the American Council of Life Insurers. She is a frequent speaker and author on a variety of legal issues. Currently, with Northern Arizona University's Equity and Access Office, she also volunteers her time to NAU's W.A. Franke College of Business as it develops its Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) certificate program.

Ms. Fimea was the 1981 Harry S Truman Scholar for the State of Arizona, and, a 1983 Rhodes Scholar finalist for the State of Arizona.  Ms. Fimea received her J.D. from The American University, Washington College of Law, in Washington, D.C.  Ms. Fimea received her M.A. in Law and International Affairs emphasizing International Communications from The American University School of International Service in Washington, D.C., and, her B.S. from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.
