Please join Friends of the Truman Foundation on Thursday, September 23rd at 1:00 pm ET for a special conversation with the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival’s Managing Director Kate Liberman (MA 06).
Ms. Liberman will share how she and her colleagues adapted to COVID-19’s realities, including their approach to reopening safely this season. In addition, she will outline efforts to tackle systemic racism in American theater and a reinvention made possible by a generous gift creating a permanent Hudson Valley home.
Founded in 1987, the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival is widely known for inventive productions and iconic open-air theater tent perched on New York’s Hudson River. Under Ms. Liberman’s leadership, the nonprofit repertory theater is at the forefront of innovative arts education and New York’s economic revitalization.
